About This Volunteer Opportunity
What: Cooking, serving, and visiting with military families who have injured loved ones staying at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Center is very important! Eight (8) volunteers Needed and will be in the kitchen area of House III. Once you have completed your shift you will eat lunch before you leave for the day.
When: March 26, 2025, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM CDT

USAA Golden Eagles: Vietnam Veterans Day Make Sandwiches for Military Families
Helping families of the Wounded Warriors, who are staying at the VA Fisher Houses
About This Volunteer Opportunity
What: The families of the Wounded Warriors who are staying at the VA Fisher Houses-Audie Murphy. We are serving the military families by making sandwiches for them. Please arrive around 8:30 AM to check in and to receive a short briefing as to what you are to do in the kitchen area.

USAA Serves April - Soldiers' Angels San Antonio Mobile Food Distribution
Help distribute food to low-income and at-risk veterans

When: Apr 17, 2025, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM CDT
Please be sure to dress appropriately. These events are held outside, regardless of the weather.

USAA is proud to SPONSOR this month's Soldiers' Angels Mobile Food Distributions to provide meals to over 75lbs of groceries to San Antonio area veterans and active duty service members, Guard members and Reservist. Volunteers always needed to package and hand out the food.
STEP 1. Sign up for this event on USAA Serves, so your hours are automatically tracked.
STEP 2: Do NOT miss this step. Click this Soldiers' Angels link for waiver. They need this for count and waiver. Will be available as time gets closer.
Note: Boxed lunches and snacks provided to volunteers
San Antonio veteran food assistance is provided monthly to veterans in need by Soldiers’ Angels during the Veteran's Food Distribution event. This food pantry event is a drive-through and will follow all local and CDC guidelines to provide the safest possible environment for veterans and volunteers. Veterans do not need to get out of the car. Masks are required at all times by everyone on site.
It requires standing, lifting and bending. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. These events are held outside, regardless of weather.
