One Trusted USAA Experience
More Ways to Connect

Convenience has become a defining expectation for consumers today. Whether interacting digitally or in person, people want seamless experiences that fit into their lives. For USAA members, that means having more ways to connect with the company they trust and receiving the same high level of service regardless of how they choose to engage.

To meet these evolving expectations, USAA is expanding access points and simplifying key interactions, creating a more connected and convenient member experience.

"Our members and the military community we serve have diverse needs and preferences," says Bank President Michael Moran. "Some prefer to engage with us through our digital channels or over the phone, while others would rather connect with us in person. That's why we're enhancing our support systems to be available whenever and wherever our members need assistance. When a member or a military family we serve needs help, we are committed to being there for them."

Expanding in-person insurance support

One way USAA is doing this is by enhancing USAA Bank branch locations to provide broader support beyond banking needs. Existing members will have more opportunities to interact with USAA, whether digitally or face-to-face, through expanded in-person insurance services.

Beginning July 28, USAA Bank's San Antonio lobby became the first branch location to offer in-person Property and Casualty insurance support, celebrating the launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 5. Members are now able to meet directly with insurance professionals to ask questions, update existing policies, or explore new coverage options, including homeowners, renters, auto, umbrella and personal property insurance. The Colorado Springs branch will follow later in August 2026, with additional locations planned throughout the remainder of the year.

"This is really symbolic of how our members see us each and every day," says P&C President Randy Termeer. "Whether they are clicking on their app, getting support on usaa.com, or they are coming to our physical locations; members will feel that financial peace, and know we are here to take care of them in every possible way."

Meeting members where they do business

As USAA continues to grow its physical presence, additional USAA Bank branches have recently reopened near key military training and educational institutions, including the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York; the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Today, these branches handle bank servicing and self-service education for military members, veterans and eligible family members as well as provide an iPad solution alongside a member services representative for deposit, credit card and consumer lending products. Soon these locations will provide closer access to even more personalized service and guidance.

Making membership easier with Fast Pass

At the same time, USAA is making it easier to become a member. Eligible individuals living in these communities can now take advantage of Fast Pass, an innovative technology that helps streamline the membership process through real-time support and a simplified verification experience.
Fast Pass reduces unnecessary steps and repetitive data entry while maintaining USAA's rigorous standards for security and compliance. By minimizing friction and confusion during enrollment, the technology allows prospective members to establish their membership more quickly and confidently.

Eligible military members at selected on-base events may be able to take advantage of Fast Pass, an innovative technology that helps streamline the membership process through real-time support and a simplified verification experience,” says Matt Wheeler, Vice President, Membership Experiences.

The return of the coin machine

We’ve also listened to member feedback and have brought back the coin machine to the San Antonio branch. This allows our members to turn their loose change into cash with no fee. The popular self-service option is another way we’re investing in our physical presence to enhance the value of membership.

A more connected member experience

Together, these enhancements reflect a simple goal: making it easier for members to engage with USAA however they prefer. Whether through expanded in-person support, new locations, or innovative digital capabilities like Fast Pass, USAA continues to focus on delivering convenient, personalized experiences that help members manage their financial and insurance needs with greater ease.
