Notice Regarding New Via Benefits Debit Cards 2026
If you’re a USAA post-65 retiree medical participant with a Via Benefits account – or a pre-65 retiree with an open Health Savings Account card from Via Benefits – you will receive a new Via Benefits debit card in late January.
Note: Please disregard the debit card change dates provided in the insert with your new debit card. Refer to the timeline below for the correct transition dates.

Jan. 21: New debit cards will be mailed to you

Jan. 31, 9 p.m. CT – Feb. 1, 2 a.m. CT: You will not be able to submit online reimbursement requests at ViaBenefitsAccounts.com

Jan. 31, 11 p.m. CT: Your current debit card will be deactivated.

Feb. 1: Activate and begin using your new card.
